Description:
This research focuses on developing an integrated educational model for promoting Native Hawaiian (NH) graduate students toward academic careers. Two gaps are noticed in the current postgraduate education and academic career training: limited continuities of NH from undergraduate to graduate study and career development from PhD to faculty. The causes of these two gaps will be diagnosed and an academic career training model will be created.
